There are as many as five matches scheduled for Wednesday as the race for a spot in the quarterfinals of the 2019 CEV Volleyball Champions League – Women heats up. VakifBank and Fenerbahce vie for their fourth win in as many matches – as equally star-studded Imoco Volley CONEGLIANO and Dinamo MOSCOW hope to use the home-court advantage to raise their chances of progressing to the next round.

BEZIERS VB (FRA) vs. Allianz MTV STUTTGART (GER)

•    Allianz MTV STUTTGART secured a 3-0 home victory over BEZIERS VB earlier this season.
•    The youngest player involved in this game, Sara Romati, is only 16 years old.

Fabien Simondet, head coach of BEZIERS VB: “It will be the last game at home this season in the CEV Champions League. We want to claim a victory for our fans. I just learned that Krystal Rivers is sick and I am a bit sad because the fans here wanted to see her again!”

Deborah van Daelen, player of Allianz MTV STUTTGART: “It is a pleasure to be here in France. The game will be very different compared to the first one that we won at home. BEZIERS VB are not an easy opponent, so we will have to raise our level.”
